Coffee Cups

Coffee cups are used by everyone and anyone. They are relatively inexpensive, come in all sorts of shapes, colors, and sizes of width, depth and can convey many messages, some joke format, some direct like ‘The Boss’ and others more romantic such as ‘I Love You’. Coffee cups are also a great marketing tool. Again they are cost-effective and if you are a coffee shop owner they get your shop name into your target markets hands, and chances are that they will see that brand a few times during one day. Coffee mugs are an essential item on every potential promotional item purchasers list. They may be perceived as dull or over done but really what else can afford such a large surface area for the logo with the price and usability. Coffee mugs have to been number one on the list.

Coffee cups also have a status attached with them, a stigma like your best china set. For example, if you have a customers that comes over for a cup of coffee and slice of cake, do you offer them your Starbucks coffee cup, Shell coffee cup or Vilroy & Boch coffee cup? Do you offer a saucer to accompany the coffee cup? Perhaps you have one of those fun coffee mugs that changes color with the heat. Nowadays the size of coffee cup you should offer also needs to be gauged. You don’t want to be perceived as stingy, unless you are serving espresso and then a small cup is obligatory, nor do you want to be seen to be over doing it or greedy either. It’s truly mind boggling how such a simple item can be used in so many ways and conveys so much about the hosts’ personality and the guests’ preferences.
